For Project 1 I plan on making AI Generated Images based on nature themed words I get from random word, sentence and paragraph generators. They will mostly be realistic landscapes though some of them will be in a style of oil paintings or watercolors. I plan on using a very beautiful nature aesthetic that is juxtaposed by the glitches which wont necessarily be aesthetically pleasing since it is my first time trying to glitch and clean up the glitches with photoshop. The theme of this project is apocalyptic and the idea that perhaps one day humans will rely on computers to generate images and VR landscapes because we will have destroyed everything green, beautiful and natural in our landscape. There will also be some humans and other beings shown in the landscape but they won't necessarily be the focus and will also emphasize the apocalyptic message.The images of realistic yet unfamiliar mountains and scenery generated by AI also gives me the idea of 1000s of years from now the tectonic plates, landscape and climate will have switched to be totally unfamiliar from what it is today, and this future landscape may or may not have humans and will probably be inhabitable to humankind. My project will show the relationship between nature and technology and how they clash and are at odds with each other, it will also show how technology has replaced the roles of nature in our everyday lives. Technology is now our source of focus, livelihood, and relaxation.
