I plan on using VR for my environment, for my Blender creatures, because I am enjoying messing around with the different controls and am nervous about learning a new, more challenging code that AR has to offer. For the world I want my creatures to be in I would like it to be an Australian-esque desert scene with some surreal aspects. I would like to do this since bearded dragons are lizards that are native to Australia and the animation I have made of my bearded dragon has it head bobbing and displaying natural instincts so I think it is best to educate and show people about bearded dragon behavior in their natural environment, also my apartment is boring aesthetically as well as very messy and I think it would be pretty sad to recreate as well as embarrassing to myself. Although the final product may not look exactly like Australia I am hoping it will emphasize what a bearded dragon needs to be healthy such as lots of UVA and UVB light from the sun, dirt or a substrate they can dig into and space to run and exercise in, and lastly rocks or tree branches to climb as they are avid climbers. I also want to add surreal aspects to make the scene more on brand for me aesthetically, plus I’m going to add the 3-D model of a teddy bear Jojo plays with so it’s gonna look weird and chaotic anyways, I might as well make it my kind of weird and chaotic.
